Otto allows you to add both:
- Company-owned vehicles (you fully control these)
- Partner vehicles (from a sub-hire partner you’ve onboarded)
This article covers how to add both types and how to toggle between your fleet and your partner fleet.
📍 Step-by-Step: Adding a Vehicle
📍Step 1: 🎥 Watch a Walkthrough
📍Step 2: Go to More ➔ Fleet
- From the bottom nav, tap More
- Then tap Fleet
📍Step 3: Tap “New Vehicle”
- On the Fleet screen, tap the New Vehicle button
📍Step 4: Choose Vehicle Type
You’ll be prompted to choose:
- Support Vehicle — a vehicle owned by your company
- Partner Vehicle — a vehicle sub-hired from another rental company
🚗 If You’re Adding a Company-Owned Vehicle (Support Vehicle)
📍Step 5: Enter Vehicle Details
You’ll be asked to input:
- Year
- Make
- Model
- License Plate
- Seats
- Category
- Drive Train
- Transmission
- Fuel Type
✅ Tip: Categories must be pre-set for accurate pricing to apply.
📍Step 6: Set Pricing & Driver Settings
- Select vehicle category & daily rate
- Choose driver options: Self-Drive, Chauffeur, or Both
- Add driver pricing for within/outside city (if relevant)
📍Step 7: Choose Vehicle Features
- Select features like AC, Bluetooth, Sunroof, etc.
✅ Tip: More features = more trust = better booking chances.
📍Step 8: Upload Vehicle Photos
- Either leave the standard images from Otto and click next or
- If you have the images ready - upload clear photos for:
- Front
- Back
- Left Side
- Right Side
- Interior (Front & Rear)
- Click Add Vehicle to fleet when done
🚧 Reminder: The first photo becomes your featured image on the marketplace.
🤝 If You’re Adding a Partner (Sub-Hire) Vehicle
📍Step 9: Select the Partner
- Choose which partner the car is coming from. (if Partner is on Otto as them to Sub hire if not add them as a new Partner)
📍Step 10: Fill in Basic Info
Enter:
- Make
- Model
- License Plate
- Fuel Type
- Vehicle Type
- Vehicle Category
📍Step 11: Add Pricing
- Set daily rate
- Set CDW excess
- Set refundable deposit (if any)
Then tap Add Vehicle
✅ Tip: Partner cars will be categorized under “Partner Fleet” — not mixed into your owned inventory.
🔄 Toggle Between “My Fleet” and “Partner Fleet”
On the Fleet screen, use the tabs at the top to switch between:
- My Fleet — your own company cars
- Partner Fleet — vehicles from sub-hire partners (toggle between Otto Network and Off Otto)
✅ Tip: Use the search bar to quickly find any car in your fleet.
