You can add a new customer — whether an individual or an organization — to Otto in two ways: by sending them a secure form link, or by manually uploading their details. This guide walks you through both options. ⚠️ Remember you can set up the details on your customer for in Business Preferences to suit your business security needs.
📍 Option 1: Sending a Customer Form Link (Recommended)

📍Step 2: Open the Customers Section
- Tap More ➔ Customers to open your customer dashboard.

📍Step 3: Tap “New Customer Form”
- Tap New Customer Form to generate a unique form link.
- The link is automatically copied to your clipboard.
- Directly go and Press Paste and send it to client on WhatsApp, SMS, or email

📍Step 4: Customer (Individual or Organization) Fills Out the Form
The customer opens the form and pressed submit by chooses whether they are:
- An Individual (for personal or employee use)

- An Organization (for companies or groups renting cars)

📍Step 5: Verify the Customer’s Uploaded Information
Once the form is submitted:
- The customer will appear in your Otto database.
- Click onto the customer card and then, review all uploaded documents:
- National ID or Passport
- Driver’s License (and expiry date)
🚧 Security Reminder: Always verify these documents before assigning a booking.

📍 Option 2: Add the Customer Manually (Direct Entry)
This is ideal if:
- The customer is offline or not tech-savvy
- You’re onboarding them in person
📍Step 1 Tap “New” ➔ Choose Customer Type
- Tap “New” on the Customers screen
- Select whether you're adding an Individual or an Organization

📍Step 2: Enter Customer Information
Fill in:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email (optional)
- ID/Passport number
- Driver’s License number + Expiry
Tap Create once you finish at the bottom of the screen
✅ Tip: Make sure the customer has shared valid documents before entering manually.

🔁 How to Toggle Between Customer Types
In your customer dashboard, you can toggle between Individuals and Organizations.
✅ Note: No matter how the customer was added (form or manual), they’ll be categorized based on their selection.
